The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act created the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses who maintain payroll during the emergency. The loans are forgiven if borrowers maintain their payroll during the crisis. Additional details, including a list of lenders participating in the PPP is forthcoming.
