Earlier today, the U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Wage and Hour Division (WHD) provided additional guidance explaining paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave under the Families First Cornavirus Response Act (FFCRA). The guidance includes posters that fulfill notice requirements for employers to inform employees about their rights under the new law. Additionally, the WHD has published fact sheets for both employees and employers, as well as a question and answer document. The DOL has indicated that additional guidance is forthcoming.
